New York City is much more than Manhattan, so don’t forget to go exploring the other boroughs while you are there.

Take the ferry to Staten Island, and pass close by the Statue of Liberty. A nice alternative if you don’t have the time to visit Ellis Island, or have forgotten to book tickets in advance. Walk across Brooklyn Bridge to enjoy Brooklyn’s ethnic, cultural, and independent art scene.
